Take a trip back in time to Ancient Egypt where you will re-live the days of the Pharoahs yet enjoy the modern luxuries of your upmarket hotels and cruise ship.

Day 1   Wed   Fly Malta-Cairo-Aswan

Day 2   Thur   Arrive Aswan Airport.  Transfer to Hotel Isis.  Free Day in Aswan for independent action.  Overnight.

Day 3   Fri     Continental breakfast in hotel.  Tour to the Granite Quarries and the Unfinished Obelisk (same site).  Check-in on board of your ship for lunchtime.  Afternoon - Depart by felucca to visit around the Botanical Garden at Kitcheners Island and view of Aga Khan Museum from outside.  Return to the ship.  Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 4   Sat    Early sail to Kom Ombo.  On arrival, depart on foot to visit temple.  Return to the ship to sail to Edfu.  Lunch on board.  Arrival Edfu in the early afternoon and take horse carriage to visit temple.  Rejoin the ship to sail to Luxor via Esna.  Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 5   Sun   Cross the River Nile in the morning to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, Hatchepsut temple and the Colossi of Memnon.  Back to the ship for lunch.  Afternoon, visit of Karnak and Luxor temples.  Return to the ship.  Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 6   Mon   Disembark from the ship after breakfast.  Transfer to Hotel Hilton Luxor.  Balance of the day for independent action.

Day 7   Tue   Free day to relax in Luxor.  Evening transfer to airport for flight to Cairo.  On arrival in Cairo, transfer to Hotel Pyramisa for overnight.

Day 8   Wed   Full day sightseeing tour visiting Egyptian museum, Giza pyramids and the Sphinx.

Day 9   Thu   Early transfer to the airport for final departure.
